Miami Should’ve Hosted the World Cup Final—Yeah, I Said It

Maybe I’m biased—OK, I’m definitely biased—but out of all the FIFA World Cup 2026 host cities, Miami is hands down the best. Period.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen what the other cities have to offer. Philly? Great for history buffs. L.A.? Sure, it’s got that movie magic. Houston? Big, sprawling, fine. But let’s be real: none of them come close to what Miami brings.

We’ve got the beaches, the nightlife, the food, and yeah—some of the sexiest people on the planet. But you already knew that. It’s Miami. You get it.

I’ve watched the promo reels for the other cities and honestly? They feel… slow. Like background music that never drops. Meanwhile, Miami is out here moving to its own beat—reggaetón, conga, whatever’s shaking the walls at 2 a.m. in Wynwood. This city doesn’t just host a party, it is the party.

So yeah, I’ll say what everyone in the 305 is thinking: FIFA should’ve given Hard Rock Stadium the Championship match. We’ve got the infrastructure, the energy, and let’s not forget—we’ve hosted Super Bowls and international matches like it’s nothing. Miami was made for this.

But hey, we’ll still show out for our seven matches. We’ll bring the vibes, the flavor, and the fireworks. Let the other cities handle their group stage politeness—we’ll handle the party.
