From Breakout Artist to Arena Headliner
SOMBR’s Sunrise date lands in the middle of a rapid move into arena-sized rooms. His 2025 breakthrough, “Back to Friends,” became his first Billboard Hot 100 top-10 hit, while his debut album I Barely Know Her expanded the run with “Undressed” and “12 to 12.”
The momentum carried into 2026 with a Best New Artist Grammy nomination and a larger North American headline tour. The South Florida date follows stops in Texas, Atlanta and other major markets before the tour continues to Orlando and up the East Coast.
What to Expect From the Sunrise Show
The tour is built around SOMBR’s mix of indie-rock textures and arena-scale pop. Rather than guessing at a final Sunrise setlist weeks in advance, the safest expectation is a show centered on the songs that drove his breakout, material from I Barely Know Her and newer releases from 2026.
The supporting bill makes this more than a single-artist stop. British band The Last Dinner Party and Los Angeles duo The Hellp are both scheduled to appear, giving the night a broader alternative-pop and rock profile.
Before You Head to Amerant Bank Arena
- The concert is scheduled for 7 p.m.; the arena says doors generally open 60–90 minutes before ticketed show time, but timing can change.
- Amerant Bank Arena uses SeatGeek as its official ticketing partner.
- The venue’s current no-bag policy permits small clutches measuring 4 by 6 inches or smaller, with exceptions for qualifying medical and parenting needs.
- The arena is at 1 Panther Parkway in Sunrise, directly across from Sawgrass Mills.
A South Florida Stop in a Fast-Moving Tour
The October 24 date puts Sunrise between SOMBR’s Atlanta show on October 22 and Orlando on October 25. For South Florida fans, that makes Amerant Bank Arena the region’s stop on a tour that continues through major arenas in Charlotte, Nashville, Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia and New York.
It’s also a snapshot of how quickly SOMBR’s scale has changed. A breakout built around intimate, emotionally direct songs is now being translated into one of South Florida’s largest indoor concert rooms.
Event details can change, particularly door times and venue policies. Check the official Amerant Bank Arena event page before leaving for the show.
